We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Service Description

PawFile is an AI-powered service that transforms pet photos into humorous professional-style resumes. The Service offers:

  • Free Tier: One resume generation with a "Made with PawFile" badge on the output.
  • Premium Tier ($4.99): Five additional professional template styles without the badge, plus high-definition downloads.

The Service is intended for entertainment purposes only. Generated content should not be used as actual professional credentials.

User Responsibilities

By using the Service, you agree to:

  • Own or have rights to uploaded content: You must own or have permission to use any photos you upload.
  • Upload appropriate content: You will not upload images containing illegal, violent, explicit, or harmful content. Images should be of pets or animals.
  • Be of legal age: You must be at least 18 years old, or have parental/guardian consent to use the Service.
  • Not abuse the Service: You will not attempt to circumvent rate limits, reverse engineer the Service, or use automated tools to access the Service.

Intellectual Property

  • Your Photos: You retain all rights to the original photos you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to process the photo through our AI systems.
  • Generated Content: AI-generated resumes and transformed images are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may share them on social media and with friends and family.
  • Public Sharing: When you create a shareable link, the content becomes publicly accessible. We may display publicly shared content for marketing purposes (e.g., featuring examples on our website).
  • PawFile Brand: The PawFile name, logo, and service design are our intellectual property and may not be used without permission.

Payment Terms

  • Pricing: Premium access is a one-time payment of $4.99 USD per session. Prices may change; the current price will be displayed before purchase.
  • Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment information.
  • Refund Policy: Due to the instant delivery of digital goods, all sales are final and non-refundable. If you experience technical issues, please contact us at support@pawfile.pet.
  • Charitable Donation: $1 from each premium purchase is donated to animal welfare organizations. This donation is made by PawFile on your behalf; no tax deduction is available to you.

Disclaimers

  • Entertainment Only: All generated content is for entertainment purposes. The AI-generated credentials, achievements, and qualifications are fictional and humorous.
  • "As Is" Service: The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
  • AI Limitations: AI image processing may occasionally produce unexpected results. We are not responsible for AI-generated content that doesn't meet expectations.
  • User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for how you use and share generated content.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PawFile and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers
  • Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code that may be transmitted through the Service
  • Any content or conduct of any third party

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason. Since we don't require user accounts, termination typically involves blocking access from specific IP addresses.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms shall remain in full force and effect.
